Bringing warmth back to technology.
Aaron Tech is an independent hardware studio based in Wisconsin. We engineer dedicated physical AI appliances that live in real rooms, built with honest materials and designed for real human connection.
We missed the soul of real objects.
For fifteen years, consumer tech trained us to stare into flat glass rectangles. When smart speakers arrived, they turned out to be cheap plastic hockey pucks designed to sell paper towels and stream surveillance telemetry back to giant datacenters.
We wanted something completely different: a tabletop appliance you're proud to display in your kitchen or living room. Crafted from real walnut timber, equipped with tactile knurled rotary knobs that feel good to turn, and featuring an RJ11 phone jack so you can plug in an old rotary phone and chat with your radio host in private.
That is Parlorwave™: a conversational AI radio built on local intelligence, acoustic warmth, and timeless domestic presence.
How We Build
Real Materials
Continuous bent walnut veneer, solid walnut trim rings, solid brass dials, and woven acoustic textiles. Built to age gracefully like heirloom audio equipment.
Local-First Intelligence
On-device neural processing handles wake detection, speech analysis, and core conversational flows without corporate cloud surveillance.
Tangible Delight
From swappable magnetic faceplates to picking up a 1960s Western Electric rotary phone to talk to your radio DJ, we design for physical joy.
