DESIGNED & ENGINEERED IN WISCONSIN, USA
Hardware Architecture & Ledger

Tabletop Architecture & Specifications.

An engineering breakdown of Parlorwave™: combining continuous bent walnut woodcraft with an authentic RJ11 vintage telephone signaling interface, USB-C audio expansion, and private on-device edge intelligence.

Key Hardware Feature

Real Phones. Real Connections.

Plug in a vintage rotary or touch-tone telephone through the rear RJ11 jack and give classic landlines a whole new voice.

Private DJ Hotline

Lift the handset off the cradle. Hear an authentic dial tone or have the AI DJ greet you immediately. Discuss record track trivia, ask for recommendations, or chat privately without broadcasting to the entire room.

🎛

Full Telephone Control

Use rotary pulses or dual-tone keypad presses to change station presets, tweak volume levels, skip songs, or trigger ambient modes directly through telephone signaling.

🔒

Guaranteed Hardware Cut

When you hang the handset back on the switchhook, the connection is physically broken. No software kill-switches to question: placing the phone on the hook mechanically severs audio transmission.

Vintage Broadcast Style

Talk any way you like: USB-C Talk Mic.

For those who want vintage broadcast style on their desk, Parlorwave supports an optional antique candlestick-style USB-C desk microphone.

Push-To-Talk Button:Tactile Broadcast Feel
Always-On Monitoring:Hands-Free Kitchen & Desk Use
Chassis Port:Standard Rear USB-C Audio Class

Microphone & Input Modes

  • 1. Built-in Front Microphones:

Far-field dual-mic array hidden behind the acoustic fabric for room-wide voice control.

  • 2. Vintage RJ11 Landline:

Private earpiece & carbon/electret handset audio with mechanical hook-switch.

  • 3. USB-C Candlestick Mic:

Dedicated desk microphone with physical push-to-talk button.
